The Strong Land Writers Group, based in Columbus, GA, is open to non-published writers and published authors of fiction and non-fiction works (in progress). Depending on participant interest, we might have separate sessions for poetry and screenplays.
12 working sessions per year (1 time monthly) - participants gotta write, and gotta share!
Possible writing field trips and guest speakers!

Dues - Initially there are not any required to join. However, I would like this group to fund at least one scholarship to either a writer’s conference (such as the Chattahoochee Valley Writers Conference or the Atlanta Writers Conference) or for a graduating high school student.

Strong Land Writers will meet July 14 at 6:30 PM. This is a special event in collaboration with Columbus writers group, Bards on Broadway, graciously hosted by member Mamie Willoughby-Pound.
We will have a special guest via ZOOM, Colorado based author Emily Wortman-Wunder will read passages from her award winning book (see link below)
